Score The Sesh

Scoring Science

From Episode 76, each category runs from -10 to 10, so the max score that can be awarded is 50/50.

Before that, each category normally ran 0 to 5 — but could go as low as -5 for the seshes that earned it — so the max was 25/25. Don't worry — I try to keep it simple (because I am stupid).

Music

Better music = higher score

Every sesh MUST have music — if it doesn't, can it even be called a sesh? Music is everywhere, and music is life. Simply put, the better the music, the higher the score.

Substances

More/heavy substances = higher score

Not every sesh NEEDS substances, but most of them have some form of drink or drug involved. Unless you're like me — boring, three years sober, and running on a few Lucky Saints, a vape and some chewing gum. The crazier — or the more — of the substances, the higher the score.

Vibes

Better vibes = higher score

A wide spectrum category, this one. It gathers the impact of the people, the location, the atmosphere and anything else relevant. The higher the better.

WTF

Crazier sesh = higher score

Says it on the tin. The higher the rating, the crazier the sesh — things we don't usually see. The more we say what the fuck, the higher it goes.

ROI (Return on Indulgence)

More worthwhile sesh = higher score

We've all been on the sesh — this category is to determine how worthwhile that sesh actually was. It encapsulates a lot of the other scores into one. Think of it as the next day/week in a nutshell. Replaced Hangover from Episode 66.

In the vault

Hangover

Vaulted from Episode 66

Worse hangover = higher score. If you were waking up hungover or coming down hard, it usually meant you went too far / had an amazing night. It's been vaulted — but not gone forever. Episodes 40-65 were scored with it.
